The Telta Lounge is one of the finest inflatable full awnings we’ve used. The premium materials, exceptional build quality and enormous living space make it a fantastic addition to any touring caravan. Once erected, it feels incredibly solid and transforms the caravan into a genuine home-from-home. The only drawback is feeding the awning through the caravan awning rail. Due to its size and weight, this requires patience and is definitely a two-person job. Fortunately, once it’s in position, the remainder of the setup is quick and straightforward.

From the moment you unpack the Telta Lounge, the quality is obvious. The fabric feels exceptionally durable, the stitching is immaculate and every zip, buckle and attachment point feels engineered for years of regular touring.

Once inflated, the Lounge creates an enormous amount of additional living space. Large panoramic windows flood the interior with natural light while maintaining excellent visibility and an open, spacious feel. Whether relaxing during the day or dining in the evening, it quickly becomes the centre of your pitch.

Throughout our ownership, the Lounge has impressed us with its stability in poor weather. Even in strong winds and prolonged rain, it has remained secure, dry and reassuringly solid, giving us complete confidence when staying on site for longer periods.

The only area where we’ve encountered any real frustration is feeding the awning through the caravan awning rail. Due to its overall size and weight, this part of the setup is physically demanding and really requires two people. It’s by far the most difficult stage of pitching, although once completed, inflation and finishing the setup are straightforward.
