Helen and Jamie are the Derbyshire family behind Never Enough Holidays, touring with their daughter Maisie and Cockapoo Trixie since 2019. Expect honest, practical videos from weekends away close to home to big European adventures, often with a theme park thrown in.
We’re Helen and Jamie, the family behind Never Enough Holidays. We live in Derbyshire and enjoy sharing the reality of touring, from the big European adventures to the simple weekends away closer to home.
We bought our first caravan in 2019 and quickly became hooked on the freedom it gave us. What started as family holidays soon became a huge part of our lives, with our daughter Maisie and our little Cockapoo, Trixie, joining us on our adventures. We’ve now toured lots around England and Wales and across mainland Europe, including France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands.
We’ve always loved going on holiday, but being restricted to school holidays can make family holidays incredibly expensive. We love exploring new places and having a caravan gives us the freedom to do that while still taking our own little home comforts with us.
We also love visiting theme parks, so some of our favourite trips combine touring somewhere new with a visit to places like Europa Park, Efteling or Center Parcs. For us, caravanning is the perfect way to have that sense of adventure while still having somewhere familiar and comfortable to come back to at the end of the day.
That’s really what Never Enough Holidays is all about — sharing the places we discover, the campsites we love, the routes that work for us and the reality of travelling as a family with a caravan and a dog. We love finding new places, making memories together and hopefully giving other families some ideas and inspiration for their own adventures.
Our content is practical, honest and down to earth, with plenty of inspiration for anyone who loves caravanning, family holidays and exploring a little further afield.
Derbyshire
2019
Our 2026 Coachman Acadia 660 Xtra twin-axle caravan, towed by our Volkswagen Touareg.
North Norfolk – we love the beautiful coastline, gorgeous beaches and relaxed seaside villages.
We absolutely love Italy and the South of France, but we also really enjoy touring through Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Camping Piantelle on Lake Garda is definitely up there. We also have a real soft spot for Camping de la Plage in the Bay of St Tropez.
Scandinavia – we’d love to take the caravan further north and explore Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Our little dog, Trixie! She’s been to nine different countries with us and is very much part of the family touring team.
